Once you go black IPA you don’t go back IPA
Falls City’s Black IPA is dark in color, with a prominent “Northwest” hoppy aroma – citrusy, piney and resinous – with sweet malt, hints of roastiness and toasted malt. The flavors strike a beautiful balance between citrusy Northwest hops and, to a lesser degree, roasted, chocolate malt or caramel notes. Despite its rich color, the body is more reminiscent of an India Pale Ale, not heavy like a porter or stout.

Smoked Baltic Porter
Solidarity among beers
Unlike most porters, the Falls city Baltic Porter is made with a lager yeast and is brewed with a smoky malt. It’s dark brown in color and is reminiscent of dried fruit. Enjoyable and not overpowering, the bold flavor it meant to warm you up. It’s like enjoying a campfire, marshmallows not included.

Get your own, this is Mai-Bock
Falls City Maibock is a style with deep roots not only in Europe but in Louisville as well. The Maibock is a pale lager brewed during the winter, and ready just in time for spring. The copious amounts of Vienna and Pilsner malts are balanced by German Noble hops. At 6.4% ABV, it may just help you forget about the cold, dark winter.

Grab your salt and lime for the tequila of beers
The Falls City Gose is a slightly sour, slightly salty beer. Brewed for over 1000 years, this beer has hints of coriander, citrus, and is refreshing to drink. It’s like a beach day in a glass, giving you a first hint of summer. Drink enough of these and you’ll be calling this a cerveza by the last sip.

Giddy-up, Downtown Brown. Giddy-up.
A complex, yet clean brown ale. The combination of malts gives the Falls City Downtown Brown Ale a rich flavor balanced with a combination of American and German hops. A trifecta of flavors: malty, honey, and hoppy, this beer puts you right in the winners circle every time.

Whiter than your winter tan
While lighter, fruiter, and more refreshing than most IPAs, our White IPA it still retains the full flavor and depth you love. Wheat malt balances out some of the standard barley malt found in standard IPAs to provide a unique flavor and mouth feel. For an extra twist, we’ve added coriander and orange peel… just in time for summer.

Jump on the banana boat bandwagon
This German-inspired wheat ale is the perfect hot weather beer. The yeast gives the beer banana and clove aromas while finishing with a slight lemon flavor and at 4.4% ABV you don’t have to feel guilty about having more than one. Drink on my friend.
Grainy, Refreshing, Tart
The real champagne of beers
Falls City brewed this style as early as 1912 when Master brewer Otto Doerr brought the style to Kentucky from his native land. This German wheat sour beer is kettle-soured with lactobacillus and fermented out with German yeast and flavored with the same hop variety, Cluster, as the original.

This Emperor might make you take off your clothes
The Falls City Imperial IPA is an IPA’s lover dream. This citrusy hop bomb is surprisingly well-balanced with a massive malt bill featuring pilsner and caramel malt. Pouring gold in color with notes of pineapple and grapefruit in the aroma this brew is deliciously juicy with upfront citrus bitterness and tropical fruit hop notes in the finish. Be careful, the
alcohol flavor might go to your head.

“Get your Schnitzel out of my Lederhosen”
We take Oktober seriously… very seriously. This Oktoberfest beer is heavy in malt and clean in finish. As usual, we’ve struck the perfect balance of sweet and crisp; just like the beginning of fall. Grab your pretzel and your stein, you don’t need a passport for this malty excursion.

A fruitcake you’ll actually enjoy.
Smooth and chewy and a long-lasting head, this beer is like a Hefeweizen with a backbone. This fruity beer brings in the bountiful harvest of fall. Wheat and malt combine for a deep flavor. You’ll wish the glass was just as deep.
